On what grounds was my debt sold?

Your debt was sold on the grounds of an assignment contract i.e. receivables transfer. It is a contract between the creditor (the assignor) and a third party (the assignee), under which the creditor may, without the debtor’s consent, transfer the debt to a third party. On the grounds of Art. 509 of the Civil Code, the creditor is not obliged to ask the debtor for consent before the assignment.

I received a letter with information about a debt. What do I do?

Please contact Casus FINANSE as soon as possible so that during the telephone conversation with our specialist, we can find a common solution, convenient for both sides. Lack of cooperation on your side will trigger taking action, including legal action, which may cause a loss of credibility and goodwill in the eyes of the employer and financial institutions who will learn about your situation and disregard for the concluded contracts.

What is standing order? Can I order regular payments on account of the debt?

If you meet the conditions of instalment payments and obtain approval of the specialist conducting your case, the agreed instalments can be paid through standing order. The only condition is having an account in a selected bank. You must go to the bank and declare your willingness to make payments through standing order. You must prepare information about the account number to which make the payments (to be obtained from Casus FINANSE), and the established amount and time of the order. After arranging standing order, at your defined intervals, the established amount will be taken from the indicated account, and then transferred to the creditor’s account. Orders are realized automatically, and the Debtor has full control over finances.
